Photo resolutions and printing sizes

To get an idea of what size photos from our collection can be printed up to for good quality, consult the tables below.

Note that for professional high resolution printing with true photo quality output, usually 300 ppi (pixels per inch) is the required resolution level. 200 ppi still produces very good prints and may be okay for most purposes, particularly if you're printing on canvas. Remember that resolution cannot be considered in isolation - it depends on how close you are to the print. A poster or sign viewed from a distance can look perfect even at just 50 ppi or less.
